"eunoia" is a painting created with acrylics by artist Kadeitra Wells. This painting is the precursor in a series in the study of grief, nature & nurture. The angel is symbolic of serenity, surrender and peace in the eye of the storm. In the face of adversity and dark clouds, the black woman closes her eyes and is at peace. A study in letting go of what we cannot change, in the distance the sun shines as the light at the end of the tunnel. Black culture is modernized and transcended with images of doves and flowers woven into her braids, showing pride and beauty.
